Evaluation of the video

From filming my short film clip for my media preliminary work I learnt how to use the different technologies of Adobe Premiere to learn how to do the editing of the film clips that I took to shorten all the different out takes that I took and used Adope Premiere to cut out the parts that are not needed or wanted on the final clip. The DV cameras were difficult to use at first as I was unsure of what to do, but it did not take long to figure out what I needed to do so that I was confident with using the camera by myself and knowing how to set it up correctly and be able to film the clip. To become more confident when using the camera I used one of my lessons to learn what all the different buttons on the camera did and how they would change my filming processes. I did this by walking around the college trying to film lots of different things and this made me realise what buttons were needed to record and look back at the video and how to get the video to be in the right place before recording.

The continuity editing was the most difficult part about the whole production of the film, this was much harder than i thought it would be. I did not expect it to be as complicated as it was, this was difficult because it was complicated to get the different cuts of the video in the correct place for the two shots to go correctly together and not have any jumps in bewtween them. I think that my overall product was good as it achieved the two continuty editing and it stuck to the task set well. However, if i was to make another film i think that i could improve on this by making the film clip longer and having more interesting cuts within the clip.

If i were to create another film i would make more different cuts in the scene so that it is more interesting for the viewer.
